Create an iTunes Account on an iPad or iPod Touch without a credit card.
If you already have an account, choose Settings > Store (grey gear icon). Tap the Apple ID displayed and choose Sign Out.
Push the Home Button. Open the App Store on your device. (blue app icon)
Find a free application in the App Store (blue app icon) by searching in Top Charts at the bottom of your screen.
4. IMPORTANT: Before proceeding to the next step, you must download and install the free application by tapping Free followed by tapping Install. 5. Tap Create New Apple ID.

6. Choose your country, then tap Done. 7. You'll need to read and agree to the iTunes Store Terms & Conditions. Tap Agree located at the bottom of the page to continue.
Enter your email address (use WCPSS address for school related professional purchases; use generic WCPSS School-based alias address for apps purchased with school or department funds), security question, birthday, and create your password. Password must be 8 characters and include at least 1 capital letter and at least 1 number. Tap Next.
Tap Credit Card and select None as your payment option.

Continue to fill out the required email, address, and phone number fields. Use the school address and phone number and your wcpss email. Tap Next.
You'll then see a screen that says "Verify your Account." Tap Done and check your WCPSS email for a verification email from iTunes Store.
8. Open the email, and click the link enclosed in the email to activate your account. 9. Once you tap the link, the App Store should automatically open and prompt you to sign in with your account name and password.

10. Tap Sign In and you will see a thank you screen.

11. You have set up your account successfully, and you can start enjoying iTunes, iBooks, and the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
